How to Cite Print Articles in CSE
In our citation examples, we use the following color coding:
- Red – Author
- Blue – Title of book/article/charter/webpage
- Pink – Date
- Orange – Website/Publisher
- Green – Title of journal
- Violet – Editor/Translator
- Black – Volume/Issue
- Sienna – Pages

Do not abbreviate names of newspapers. Instead of volume or issue number, include section info. Also, add column information, if available.

Magazine article (print version)

Handout materials
Mention as much information as possible including author’s (instructor’s) last name and initials, the year, and title of the material/handout was created. It is also required to give the name of the college/facility. (The information in the example below is fictional).
