Additionally, it instills a sense of confidence amongst the inexperienced sales personnel. The program forms an effective method of presentation, particularly, during shorter selling periods. It is applicable in telesales or door-to-door sales. Lastly, the program is appropriate for non-technical products like books and cosmetics. On the disadvantages, it limits customer participation and feedback processes. It is unsuitable for the sale of technical products. Observably, most technical products need inputs or discussions from various prospects. Evidently, the program also requires frequent application of orders by the salespersons. This may be misconstrued to be “high-pressure selling.”
