    This is not one editorial style you use on the ordinary basis, unlike MLA or APA that are sometimes more familiar. To help you out a little, we decided to give some basic information on the Turabian style.

    Turabian Style: When to Use

    Turabian style was developed by Kate Turabian for the University of Chicago. It is an abbreviated version of the Chicago Manual Style. It is preferred in most political science and history courses when it comes to formatting written dissertations, bibliographies, and term papers.
     
    Its major difference from APA and MLA is the sphere of usage. While the previously mentioned styles are formatted to be published, Turabian style is used in papers written for class. The sphere of this style covers musicology, history, art history, women’s studies, and theology. Read more

    • Iqbal Mohammed Al Asa’ad became the youngest Arabian university student. This Palestinian girl completed two to three years of school in only one year, and entered the Weill Cornell University at the age of 12, majoring in medicine.
    • Britain’s youngest university student was Ruth Elke Lawrence. At the age of 8 she passed her O-Level exams on math with outstanding scores. At the age of 11 she entered the university, and it took her only two years to obtain Bachelor’s degree. She graduated at the age of 13.
    • Song Yoo-geun, the Korean kid, was only 8 when he entered the Inha University, majoring in physics. Country’s most prestigious universities offered him scholarships and fought for the right to gain him, but he preferred to stay with his choice.
    • India’s youngest student was Akrit Jaswal. The kid stated reading William Shakespeare at the age of 3. He became India’s youngest university student and is currently studying for a BSc in Chandigarh University. He has an IQ of 146 - the highest recorded for those his age in India.
    • Gregory Robert Smith is a young American genius. He was the founding father of the International Youth Advocates company, and is a children’s rights advocate himself. He finished high school at the age of 10, and obtained Bachelor’s degree in math at the age of 13.
